Field Journals & Phenology (at ODC)
In this program, participants will use field journals to observe and record phenology, or seasonal changes in the natural world. They will learn how to note visible changes in the landscape, such as plant growth, flowering times, and bird movement. The program focuses on careful observation and documentation, helping participants build skills in recording environmental changes while creating a personal reference of seasonal patterns over time. This hands-on approach supports learning, attention to detail, and familiarity with outdoor settings.
